My clients stayed at Tradewinds Island Grand Resort for several days this summer and I had a great time capturing their portraits, especially of the age range of their children. The youngest at 9 months amazed me with his love of playing in the sand! I really like the black, cream and tan clothing that they wore to their sunset portrait session. Black works well at the beach since it looks good, even when wet and I really like the ladies dresses.

Senior Sunset Beach Portrait Photos in Treasure Island Florida

My clients selected us to photograph their daughter’s Senior Portraits in Treasure Island and we also captured some great Family moments and portraits. The day started out with nice soft overcast daylight and we used two SaberStrips for soft directional fill light for some of the early portraits. The beautiful after effect of overcast summer days in Florida can be amazing sunsets. This session delivered a colorful sky display which went extremely well with our Seniors selection of purple chiffon floral dress.

Don Cesar St Pete Beach Couples Anniversary Portrait Session at Sunset

Our clients spent the weekend at the Beach House Suites in St Pete Beach FL celebrating their wedding anniversary. Guests of the Beach House Suites enjoy resort privileges at the Don Cesar Hotel, and I suggested the beach at the Don Cesar for their sunset portrait session. My clients took the shuttle from Beach House Suites to the Don Cesar and enjoyed a pre-photo shoot cocktail in the lobby bar of the hotel at my suggestion. For couples portrait sessions it can be fun to change outfits during the portrait session and my clients selected some great attire for a summer sunset St Pete Beach session. The various outfits give a little bit of variety to their session and I especially love her dress fabric selections; seersucker, white eyelet and coral lace. Congratulations on a wonderful wedding anniversary weekend! We are so thankful that you hired us to capture some moments from the romantic weekend.

Sunset In Treasure Island Florida Family Beach Portraits in Coral, White and Navy

Summer has arrived in Treasure Island and St Pete Beach Florida and the sunsets can be amazing this time of year. Our clients were two families vacationing together and they hires us to capture some great beach portraits. The summer rain created some nice overcast skies and for the actual sunset the clouds helped create some unbelievable colors in the sky! I really like how their outfits pop from the sand and grasses, and later at sunset the Corals, Whites and Pinks they wore coordinated beautifully with the sunset skies.

We are in full swing with summer family beach portrait sessions in Treasure Island and St Pete Beach Florida. This family stayed at Sunset Vistas Beachfront Suites , steps away from some of our favorite beach terrain in the area. We had perfect weather for this sunset session. I love the colors this family chose to wear: they don’t match each other exactly, but coordinate as a whole.

Bue Skies in Treasure Island Beach Couples Portraits Session

My clients mets us on a beautiful evening in Treasure Island for some amazing blue skies and gorgeous clouds, which later developed into a nice sunset. It is nice at couples sessions to capture nice individual portraits of my clients as well. The dunes and grasses in Treasure Island are amazing right now; everything is green!

Dramatic Skies in St Pete Beach Treasure Island Family Beach Session

This session goes to show that we don’t always need a colorful sunset to make great beach portraits. This family is from the Tampa Bay area and I think the summer dark skies completely compliment their attire. I love how their clothing in shades of cream and black and textured patterns creates awesome visual interest. I personally love darker colors at the beach and this session proves that sunset beach session don’t have to be all about pastels and summer brights.
Our clients braved the dark skies and met us in Treasure Island Beach near Bilmar Beach Resort and we walked north through the natural beach to our favorite beach location by Sunset Vistas Beachfront Suites and Residence Inn by Mariott Treasure Island. I captured portraits of each kid and mom as we meandered through the grasses palms.

Between the Raindrops In Treasure Island Beach Family Portrait Session

My clients braved the iffy weather for their portrait session in Treasure Island and I think the results are amazing. We began photographing their session in the natural grasses and palms of Treasure Island beach in beautiful cloud filtered natural sunlight. The clouds in the sky are dramatic and for good reason: a 15 minute rain storm was about to begin!

We quickly ran for cover at one of the condos facing the beach and decided to wait out the storm instead of rescheduling. After the rain, the skies were amazing; dramatic clouds with the sun peeking thru in soft pastels. Bad weather can make for great photos! Plus the beach was practically empty after the rainstorm.
