Molly + David were married in Denver Colorado over Thanksgiving weekend. Holy Ghost Church in downtown Denver was selected for their catholic mass ceremony. Their wedding reception was held at the newly opened History Colorado museum. The couple’s wedding theme was a celebration of Colorado, reflecting that each Molly + David were fifth generation Coloradans. In selecting these vendors, Molly + David create an elegant evening wedding ceremony and reception. Molly and David’s Denver wedding was previously featured on the Kristen Sloan Photography blog, but I wanted to further showcase the work of the amazing vendors they selected to create their wedding day.

When I arrived to photograph David and his groomsmen, I immediately noticed that I was about to photograph a handsome group of gentlemen who were about to be outfitted in an equal manner. David gave each groomsman a custom monogrammed bib front tux shirt and Trafalgar braces. The groom and groomsmen tuxes were provided by Andrisen Morton. All were outfitted in black cowboy boots. Men who know how to dress black tie well are extremely attractive!
Molly purchased her wedding dress at Anna Be bridal salon in Denver Colorado.
The bridal portrait was taken at Denver Country Club on a perfect fall day with the foliage at its almost peak in Denver.
Moss Pink Flora created this bouquet for the session and I especially like that it had succulents and fall colors.
For her wedding day bouquet, Molly selected elegant shades of ivory
The bridesmaids bouquets were bright and colorful with hydrangea and succulents. I thought the beautiful textures of the flowers created by Moss Pink Flora complimented Molly + David’s Colorado themed wedding.
All of the wedding stationary, (including the invitations, church programs and menu cards) was provided by
Rosie Wiedenmayer of the Paper Lady, Denver, Colorado.
At Holy Ghost Church, Moss Pink Flora created these beautiful aisle candelabras. I especially love the texture of the berry branches.
At their History Colorado wedding reception, Moss Pink Flora included aspen, thistles and branches into their floral designs.
I’m a sucker for pretty wedding flower decor, and what I loved about this wedding’s floral colors was the contrast between the bright blues and purples and the warm corals and oranges. Add in the interesting greenery and branches and then you have a perfect fall themed wedding!
The menu featured local Colorado ingredients of autumns’ rich bounty catered by Continental Divine Catering lead by Shannon Fitzgerald.

And to top off the evening, the couple chose the Dessert Stand to make a gorgeous cupcake display and a small white cutting wedding cake. I love cupcakes at wedding receptions because the guests are able to go up and enjoy a cupcake before the “cake is cut” by the bride and groom.
