Treasure Island Beach Couples Engagement Session for Guests of Tradewinds Island Grand Resort

My clients were vacationing at Tradewinds Island Grand Resort in St Pete Beach Florida and hired me to photograph their beach engagement portrait session. We selected the wide natural beach at Treasure Island to add some variety of terrain to their portrait session. This year the last week in July and first week in August brought lots of rain to the Tampa Bay area, stuck by a cold front weather pattern. After looking at the radar obsessively, we decided a morning portrait session would work best for them. The weather held for us and we were surprised at the end with some amazing clear skies and bright sun! I had a blast helping select outfits based upon where we would be shooting on the beach and also for the changing natural light on this morning. The rains provided some huge puddles for some water reflection shots. I think the results speak for themselves…WOW! What a gorgeous couple and morning at the beach…
