The night before my clients destination wedding at the Boca Grande Club on Gasparilla Island Florida, we met for the first time at Banyan Street in Boca Grande for a portrait session before they attended their wedding rehearsal dinner celebration.

We met before sunset and the sunlight was filtered through the leaves of the majestic Banyan Trees. We have lovely Banyan trees in downtown St Petersburg, but the tree lined Banyan Street in Boca Grande is unbelievably beautiful. Since their wedding ceremony and reception were both being held at the Boca Grand Club, I suggested that we photograph some portraits of them on Banyan Street the day before since we had determined it would be difficult to schedule time for them to do so on their actual wedding day.

I’m really happy that my clients were able to have these photos taken before their rehearsal dinner at Eagle Grill. Banyan Street is definitely one of the most recognizable natural landmarks in Boca Grande for a reason; its canopy is simply stunning!  They are an adorable couple and its so nice to have these portraits of them right before they became husband and wife.
