What is included in a Kristen Sloan Photography Portrait Session?

Sessions typically last 1 hour and produce 50-100 edited and color corrected  images showcased on Kristen Sloan Photography’s website and include the high-resolution images with printing permission.  An 8×8 album of Kristen’s favorite images from the shoot is an option with some packages.

Portrait sessions in St Petersburg and nearby beaches of St Pete Beach, Treasure Island start at $425. Kristen Sloan Photography Portrait sessions in Ana Maria Island, Longboat Key and Sarasota start at $475.  Portrait session prices vary based upon number of people being photographed. I will gladly photograph your session in Madeira Beach, Reddington Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, Belleair Beach, Clearwater Beach, and surrounding areas; please contact Kristen using the form below for specific pricing.

What does Kristen Sloan Wedding Photography offer?

My wedding day photography combines candid photojournalism with beautiful portraits and wedding details. As an experienced wedding photographer, I love anticipating the moments of your wedding day by capturing images which relay the memories from this once in a lifetime event.

As a wedding photographer, it is my duty to make the photo taking process quite enjoyable for my clients, their family and guests. In addition to my photographic talents, my clients enjoy hiring me on their wedding day for my positive personality, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.

 What is your wedding photography pricing?

My Kristen Sloan Photography Wedding Guide contains my current Wedding Photography Packages and information about my Couples Engagement Sessions, Pre Wedding Bridal Portraits and After the Wedding Couples Portrait Sessions.

All of my Wedding Photography Packages include the edited, culled and color corrected images displayed in a gallery on my Kristen Sloan Photography’s website  6-8 weeks after your wedding day. I will mail you the high-resolution images with printing permission presented on a mini usb. An 8×8 album featuring my favorite images from the wedding is included with some wedding photography packages. Rehearsal dinner coverage is also available and can especially be nice for Florida Gulf coast destination weddings.

When did you start photographing weddings?

I have been drawn to photography since I was a teenager, studying journalism in high school where I began photographing for my school newspaper and loved designing page layouts. In college, I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography with my focus in portraiture.

In 1998, I was asked to photograph a friends wedding and fell in love with the whole process of documenting one of the most important days in a couples life. At that time my weddings were photographed with film on multiple camera bodies. At that time I  enjoyed the various color and black and white films that I could shoot, each allowing me a different fine art look.

Eventually I began photographing my weddings and portraits digitally, and I have enjoyed the artistic control I have gained in the process. I truly like the post wedding production of images, offering my clients beautifully edited color and black and white images. My favorite part  of photographing weddings is when I present to my clients a beautifully designed wedding album.

For 15 years I photographed weddings in Denver, Colorado and in 2012 moved to Saint Petersburg Tampa Bay Florida.

 Do you include or sell wedding albums?

Some of my wedding photography packages include an 8×8  wedding day highlights album; a book which is designed to share with friends and family 10-12 weeks after the wedding day with my hand selected favorite images.

Will you be the Photographer capturing our wedding?

Yes, I will be the Photographer at your wedding. I photograph with two Nikon professional cameras, various lenses and will be utilizing professional lighting when needed or desired. Sometimes I will be bringing an assistant to help me carry my camera and lighting gear and to help me throughout your wedding day.

Do you use a second photographer?

If you would like a second photographer added to your Kristen Sloan Wedding Photography package, I am more than happy to arrange that and discuss the additional fee. Second photographers can be great with larger weddings (100+ guests),  or when the bride and groom are getting ready at different locations.

 Are my wedding photos posted online?

Yes! Approximately six-eight weeks after your wedding day, the edited, culled and corrected images will be posted on the Kristen Sloan Photography website. Friends and Family may view and order photographs from this online gallery.

 Do you include High Resolution Digital Files?

Yes. All of my packages include High Resolution Digital Files. I edit and color correct my selected images for the online galleries. High resolution images are delivered to the client on a USB drive after the wedding day.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

I include an engagement session with some of my wedding packages because it provides an opportunity for you to become comfortable in front of my camera and for us to get to know each other. Engagement Sessions can be added to all packages for $350. Even with destination weddings, many of my clients are able to schedule a couples photography session during one of their trips to Florida to plan their wedding.

My engagement sessions generally last 1 hours and can be shot in a location that appeals to you as a couple An additional location can be added for a small fee..  I generally will guide you in your posing and then allow you to be yourselves. I try to keep engagement sessions light-hearted and fun, always looking for the best locations, light  and moments.
